What Is Deep Tissue Massage?

Our Deep Tissue Massage is a powerful, results-oriented treatment designed to address chronic muscle tension, stiffness, and deep-seated discomfort. Using slow, deliberate strokes and firm pressure, our skilled therapists focus on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to release built-up tension and improve mobility. This technique helps break down adhesions caused by stress, overuse, or injury, promoting better circulation and reducing inflammation. It’s an ideal choice for those experiencing chronic pain, postural imbalances, or recovering from strenuous physical activity.

Beyond pain relief, Deep Tissue Massage provides restorative benefits for both body and mind. The treatment encourages relaxation, improves flexibility, and supports faster muscle recovery, leaving you feeling balanced and rejuvenated. Whether you need targeted relief from specific tension points in a 30-minute session or a full-body reset with a 60-minute treatment, this massage helps restore comfort, enhance performance, and promote lasting wellness. Please note that Deep Tissue Massage is not able to be booked for 90 minute appointment slots.

Deep Tissue Massage FAQs

Our massage therapist always recommends drinking plenty of water after any massage. Please note that it is also normal to feel sore after receiving any type of body work. Soreness should subside within 1-2 days.

No, we do not recommend a massage to treat an injury. Massage is a wonderful way to take care of your body AFTER an injury has healed, but massage should never be used as a primary treatment for any type of body injury. If you have recently been injured or undergone surgery of any kind, please inform your massage therapist prior to your appointment.
